Persian Rug Cleaning Immokalee
Cleaning and repairing old Persian rugs instead of replacing them is a much more budget friendly way of updating them.
Persian rugs aren’t quite the same as an Oriental rug. For starters, these Persian rugs come from Iran which used to be known as Persia. They are high quality with some popular designs being Heriz, Kerman, Kashan and Tabriz.
Rugs – not Immune from becoming Dirty
They’re made out of vibrant colors and tight hand-tied knots – so intricate – they can take months and months for craftsmen to complete. They’re long-lasting and a good investment, but they’re not immune from becoming dirty and damaged.
Keeping your Persian rugs clean and fresh smelling will prolong their lifespan and help you to enjoy them more.
At Oriental Rug Cleaners we’ve go through a number of steps to keep your Persian rugs looking splendid and to make them all bright again.
We’ve got highly skilled rug technicians who will will first examine your rug. They check everything, and make notes if they detect any damage. They will let you know about it, so that you can decide on what you want done for your rug.
We make use of a process known as Air Dusting where we make sure your Persian rug is free from all dust and dirt. We’ve got special air-dusting machines for this. You might have thought your Persian rug was fairly clean, till you see how much dirt comes out from the 30-60 minutes cleaning session.
We always do a dye bleed test. This is to make sure your Persian rug’s colors are stable and don’t run into each other. If we’re in any way concerned, we’ve got our special dye-lock treatment which will ensure no bleeding or running of colors.
We submerge your rug in about 4 inches of water, adding gentle antique rug cleaning products. There’s always quite a bit of soap during the washing process, so we rinse your Persian rug thoroughly so that not a trace of cleaning products remains. We make sure every bit of soap is removed.
Grooming the Rug
We dry your Persian rugs quickly on our specialized drying towers. We know that Persian rugs, sometimes made of wool, can shrink when left wet for too long. Once your rug is dry we groom it. We groom the pile and comb the fringes with the right rug grooming tools till your rug is soft and beautiful.
At Oriental Rug Cleaners we inspect the rug to ensure a job well done. If our customers aren’t 100% satisfied, we’ll repeat the process.
With our superb rug cleaning methods, we gently renew the appearance of your handmade carpet so that it once again becomes a beautiful focus in your room.
